Last year I bought clippers so I could save a few cents on haircuts. Now I cut my own hair. Since I don't have to look at it, I think I do a great job.

The A-Plus

Mr. Singh has a convenience store a block from where I live. I go there often for fuel and for goodies. I realize this is obvious, but I will say it anyways: it is convenient. There is a sense of grateful comfort that washes over you when you're walking home at 1 a.m. with some ice cream and a gallon of milk.

been a long time

Hard to believe that it was in September when I last posted. A combination of busyness, the economy and my computer giving up the ghost have conspired to keep me juggling stuff.

EDM#076- Flowers. I took a water color class over several weeks. The larger format was intimidating. So while I worked on class work I also did this drawing in my journal.

Figuring out how to upload

Thanks Spinneretta & Ann for the formating advice. I've been uploading images directly from Flickr, which seems to send them here at actual size. This one I did thru blogger itself.
Uploading from Flickr saves a few steps, but I can't see a way to change the image size when posting from it (besides having smaller original images uploaded to Flickr).

This elderly man was sitting in front of me. I took my time studying him. As I drew him I felt a bit self-conscious. Wondering what he'd think of me sketching him.
